Coat Features

  • Advanced Thermal Enhancement System
  • Shoulders, upper back and elbows are thermally enhanced with an extra layer of thermal liner material
  • Superior seam construction: Double stitched outer shell and liner major seams using 100% Nomex® thread
  • Streamlined 3.5” four-layer storm flap with heavy-duty high-temp polymer zipper and 1.5” FR hook and loop take closure provides internal thermal and moisture protection
  • Two front panels, a shoulder yoke and a three-piece bi-swing back construction in all three layers
  • Underarm Kinetic Kontrol™ panels are patterned to create a dynamic balance between the coat body panels and sleeves for maximum mobility without the restriction of arms and shoulders and to minimize hem rise. The coat construction of both shell and liner patterns mirror each other to ensure proper fit in the chest, sleeve, and shoulders.
  • Four-layer, 3.5” high stand-up collar provides internal thermal and moisture protection. Four-layer contoured throat strap with FR hook and loop tape closure

Customization Options

  • Black Ara-Shield reinforced cuffs with 7.5” PBI/Kevlar® thumb wristlets
  • 9” h x 9” w x 2” d bellows/hand-warmer pockets with FR hook and loop tape closures. Bellows pocket portion is reinforced on the bottom half of the inside with Kevlar® twill and hand-warmer portion is lined with fleece
  • Fully detachable liner with liner pocket on right side
  • Liner is secured to the outer shell with snaps along the front-facing and FR hook and loop tape extending the entire length of the collar
  • Liner inspection opening at hem
  • Double layer hanger loop sewn to the inside top of the collar
  • Fully removable Kevlar® Drag Rescue Device (DRD)
  • NFPA trim pattern with 3M 3” lime-yellow 3M Scotchlite Triple Trim, Double-stitched
  • Hanging Name Patch 3” lime-yellow 3M Scotchlite letters (“NAME”)
  • 8” h x 3.5” w x 2.5” d radio pocket with 2 notches and lined with neoprene – left chest
  • Two Mic Clips measuring 1” wide by 2” long is located above the radio pocket and above the flashlight hook
  • Flashlight Retainer Strap/Flashlight Hook consisting of a 2” wide by 12” long fabric strap secured with FR hook and loop tape and a reverse hook on a fabric strap. The reverse hook is set 6” above the fabric strap on the right chest
  • Embroidered Nomex® American Flag (reverse) on right sleeve

  • 3” lime-yellow 3M Scotchlite letters (up to 4 letters) sewn to the upper back (example: USAF)
  • Option to remove the radio pocket, mic strap and/or flashlight retainer strap/flashlight hook

Care and Use

This garment should be washed separately from other garments and all zippers or hooks & loops should be closed. For coats, the DRD should be removed. Machine wash in temperatures of 40° C or 140° F using the “Permanent Press” setting and using liquid detergent. Hang to dry. Do not machine dry. Do not use chlorine bleach. Discoloration of any component could possibly be an indication that protective qualities have been compromised. Clothing must be inspected after each use to ensure continued performance.
